Last night CCG Models had, once again, the honor of being a part of the 3rd Annual Phi Sigma Sigma stRUt For The Kids Fashion Show. It was another fantastic success with participants from the Rutgers University chapter of Phi Sigma Sigma as well as members of numerous other sororities and fraternities. Nick from Hurricane Productions supplied the room with great tracks that kept the evening flowing while members of each fraternity and sorority strutted the stage in formal wear, as couples and with the children from the Embrace Kids Foundation. All proceeds from the fashion show were raised for and donated to the Embrace Kids Foundation.

Participating in the event were 24 beautiful female models from sororities such as Phi Sigma Sigma, Alpha Phi Omega, Phi Sigma Pi, Delta Gamma, Gamma Phi Beta, Sigma Delta Tau, Sigma Kappa, ZTA as well as captains from the Rutgers University Dance Marathon. There were also 24 male models participating from fraternities such as Chi Psi, Alpha Phi Omega, Phi Sigma Pi, Delta Phi, Delta Upsilon, Phi Kappa Psi, Pike, Phi Sigma Kappa, Sigma Phi Delta, Sigma Chi, Theta Chi, TKE and ZBT.

The female models wore various designer dresses supplied by the generous people of Rent The Runway that ranged from Hervé Léger to Versace. All of the participants looked stunning and were cheered on loudly by family, friends and classmates.

But let’s not forget what the entire evening was about. Raising money for the Embrace Kids Foundation was the #1 goal for everyone involved. On top of that was giving all of the kids attending from the foundation an incredible evening to remember. Walking up and down the runway was clearly something they thoroughly enjoyed as many of the kids continued to do it over and over again…even when the show was over. Many of the kids even had their own formal wear for that portion of the show. Being cheered on by the crowd brought some incredibly touching smiles to their faces and memories they, as well as their sorority and fraternity sisters and brothers, will have forever.

The night wound down with some great prizes donated by sponsors from all over the area and the kids themselves had the honor of picking the winning tickets. In total 52 prizes were awarded as well as a 50-50.

It was a great night of modeling, charity and community support that CCG Models is proud to have been able to be a part of. Phi Sigma Sigma did an excellent job on their 3rd annual fashion show. It is clear that it will continue to be a successful project uniting the campus community behind an incredibly noble cause.

Sadly, it was the final year for the founder and director of the show, Samantha. We wish to congratulate her on this amazing event that she created. As she hands over the reins to a successor, it is great to know that she created such a well-oiled machine which will be able to live on and continue to touch the hearts of those who participate for years to come.
