This weekend on Saturday April 6, 2013 at 10:00am the Rutgers University Dance Marathon will kick off at the College Ave. Gym on the campus of Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. The dance marathon will run for 32 hours straight where hundreds of participants from the Rutgers community, including some of the models from the 2013 Scarlet NJ project, will dance and participate in various activities until 6:00pm on Sunday April 7, 2013. This yearlong fundraising project that culminates over the weekend is a massive undertaking by the Rutgers student community to raise money and awareness for the incredible Embrace Kids Foundation. Last year the Rutgers University Dance Marathon raised over $442,000 and they hope to surpass that this year. (Click to learn more about the Embrace Kids Foundation)
